Wimbledon House

This home in Wimbledon was substantially extended by converting the large attic space and adding a significant rear extension wing to house a new kitchen. The internal spaces were also reworked and a large axial rear corridor created side to side to enhance the spaciousness and grandeur of the home.

Brick clad external columns and full height pivoting doors give the high-ceilinged kitchen the more substantial quality we were looking to achieve, framing the garden planters and providing a striking backdrop to a new dining space.

Our tiered landscaping design resolved both the existing level change but also allowed the opportunity to deal with the significant ground water which had caused flooding in the past.
