Knightsbridge Mews

AtelierWest were appointed to carry out the planning application and detail design of this Mews house located in the Hans Town Conservation area.

By taking account of rights of light and local amenity and liaising with listed building specialists and local authorities, AW ensured the proposals would not impact neighbouring residents but instead enhance the heritage asset in question.

After a challenging planning process, RBKC granted permission to rebuild the mansard roof, as well as other modifications to the front façade. The refurbishment included other challenging specialist features such as a new pool at basement level, stair core with a section of walk on glass and openable rooflight.
